About Me

I am a fully qualified, registered and accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP Accred.) working in Jersey, Channel Islands.

I hold an Advanced Diploma in Counselling (AQA) as well as an additional Post Qualifying Diploma at Level 7 (Masters level) in Counselling Children and Young People (ABC).

In addition to these main qualifications, I hold certificates in Drug and Alcohol Addiction Counselling, Integrative Psychotherapy, EMDR, Flash Technique, Clinical Supervision (Diploma) and a foundation qualification in Systemic Family Therapy with the Tavistock Institute.

I have also undertaken numerous and extensive training in trauma work and am currently working towards a Certification in Complex Trauma Training.

I also have a first class BA (Hons) degree and am a fully qualified accountant. Having made the decision to banish my calculator and turn to the infinitely more interesting subject of the human condition; I have never looked back.

I have previously set up and managed the Counselling Provisions for several Charitable Organisations in Jersey and continue to be involved with these as both a Supervisor and Voluntary Clinician.
